Hi there, I'm Brynn! I'm married to Aaron and we have a sweet Golden Retriever, Scruffur. After getting Scruffur, I picked up a camera and haven't put it down since. Capturing his loving and playful personality, and documenting the 3 of us and our life together, is so important to me. I want to give that to you too!
My favorite place to be is at home with these guys. The best evenings are relaxing & watching a good show together or sitting out on the patio with a fire. I also enjoy exploring parks with my guys, running with Scruffur (Aaron rides his bike with us), cooking healthy recipes & trying new restaurants.
My heart has always been drawn to compassion and service. Being very sensitive to people's stories & feelings helped inspired me into this service. I want to be attentive to your story, your heart, and capturing it beautifully. I am so happy to be able to care about you through our communication and your photos. I absolutely love what I do & it is such a joy to serve you & be a part of some of the most special times in your life!
All the best,
How we Met...
We met dressed up as pioneers in an 1800’s town. Different, right?! I started working at Conner Prairie, a history museum in Fishers, IN, as a youth volunteer when I was 11. When Aaron was 15, he started working there too. He asked me to a summer concert & we started talking & hanging out. We were young, awkward & had a lot to learn about relationships! We are so grateful for the support & family we gained there, especially with the ups & downs to come...
I wanted a dog for as long as I can remember. I spent time taking care of other people’s dogs & fell in love with Golden Retrievers. When we were in college, Aaron & I decided to get a puppy. We talked about what would happen if we broke up & decided that we should share him…people do that! Our lives changed with an unbelievable joy... a 6 week old sweet, inquisitive & VERY playful red Golden, Scruffur, but…
A year later, Aaron & I broke up. That same night, Aaron took Scruffur home & even though he was past chewing, he destroyed Aaron’s room while he was sleeping. Our 4 legged buddies have strong feelings too! Aaron & I stayed friends & shared Scruffur for 2 years. In 2010, we got back together & got engaged. We couldn’t see life without each other in it. We were married in May 2011, which is also Scruffur’s birthday month, so it’s one of our favorite months! The night ended with fireworks, a favorite of all 3 of us. Yes, Scruffur gets so excited about fireworks & loves to watch them too!
a thousand Miles Away...
AAaron graduated from college the same day that we got married. He took a job in Texas & the 3 of us moved 1,000 miles away. It was such an adjustment to be in a new place, with new jobs & a completely different climate, especially for this 4 season girl! We didn’t like it at first, but we grew to like it & it will always be one of our homes. Then, we moved to St. Louis & lived there for 4 years.
Following a Passion...
t was in St. Louis that I started thinking about a new job. I graduated from Butler University in Education & I worked in schools, as well as customer service. Whatever I did, I wanted to serve & help people in some way. I loved photography & took tons of pictures, mostly of Scruffur, not wanting to miss or forget a single moment. In 2013, I followed that passion & started serving families & couples! Aaron & I enjoy working together. He is my assistant at Weddings & behind the scenes.
Back in Indy...
We moved back to Indy in 2016 & I’m so happy to be working with couples in my hometown, but love traveling around the US too! It is my absolute joy to capture all of these wonderful moments that make up your life. I want to be attentive to your story, your heart & capturing it beautifully. I am so happy to be able to care about you through our communication & your photos.
